The second row is not an alternative rule we have discovered in JILI’s games. It shows why a unit and a total cost cannot be exchanged without evidence. A fee or feature-purchase price also should not automatically become the base of a win multiplier. Read the definition beside the actual award.
Check whether the limit already includes the jackpot
Consider a different fictional rule: all awards in one round are combined and then limited to 1,000 credits. If the components are 900 credits and 300 credits, their sum is 1,200, but the settled amount under that explicit rule is 1,000. You cannot add a component again after applying the inclusive limit.
