How the journal is written

The journal is where we explain changes to the collection and what we find while reading JILI's records. It is not an industry news wire. Each note is dated, names the source it checked, and separates a fresh observation from anything we could not confirm. Our 2026 release list, for example, covers the 27 titles in our 100-game set that carry a 2026 publish date; it does not claim to be JILI's full release calendar.

Other notes look at why layout figures can disagree (13 of our records have that problem) and at what a provider image can and cannot prove. If you want the facts for one game, the dossier stays the main reference; the journal gives context on why something was checked or changed.
